Music for Movement

Jon Scoville is a “triple treat” artist — composer, writer, and photographer — whose work spans dance, circus, film, animation, and commercials. Author of Sound Designs (Ten Speed Press) and a former columnist for Percussive Notes, he has created over 100 commissioned scores for choreographers and companies worldwide, including Alwin Nikolais Dance Theater, Murray Louis Dance Company, TranChan (Brazil), Oakland Ballet, Compagnie Hors Taxes (Paris), Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, New Music Works, Pickle Family Circus, and Tandy Beal & Company.
